2013 is the 100th anniversary year for the Kendrick Mansion, located on the grounds of the Trail End State Historic Site in Sheridan. Built for future governor and U. S. Senator John B. Kendrick, the home was finished in July 1913.
Kicking off the anniversary celebration is a Speakeasy Fundraising Party, scheduled for Saturday, March 23, at Sheridan’s Black Tooth Brewing Company. Sponsored by the Trail End Guilds, Inc., the Speakeasy Party commemorates the date in 1933 that Americans were once again allowed to brew beer after thirteen years of national Prohibition.
