If your New Year's resolutions include 'exercising more' or 'getting outdoors more' why not try starting the year out with a ONE mile walk at ONE pm on January ONE at Fort Bridger State Historic Site.
This is the second year that Fort Bridger will participate in "America's State Parks First Day Hikes; joining with other State and National Parks who are also sponsoring hikes on January 1.
The Fort Bridger hike will begin at 1 p.m. at the entrance booth. The route of the one mile walk will depend on the weather and staff will be on-hand to lead the way. There will be refreshments and the first 40 participants will receive a pin commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Wyoming's State Parks. There will be drawings for other prizes throughout the afternoon. The event will take place between one and three pm on January 1.
For more information please call the Fort Bridger offices at 307 782-3842.
