The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and Office of the Wyoming State Archaeologist in cooperation with Wyoming PBS produced a video showcasing an important archaeological site in Wyoming, Trappers Point.

Located near Pinedale, Trappers Point would not have been discovered and documented if not for the National Historic Preservation Act, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

Trappers Point is a 4,300 to 7,000 year old archaeological site located in a bottle neck along the pronghorn seasonal migration route.

This program will air as part of Wyoming PBS's Main Street series on Wednesday, June 15, at 7 p.m. on Wyoming PBS.
