Water levels at Guernsey Reservoir have returned to pre-silt run levels with boat ramps again usable and boating opportunities available, especially on the eastern side of the reservoir.

Visitors to Guernsey State Park are reminded that construction on the dam continues resulting in water levels lower than normal for this time of year. However, visitors to Guernsey State Park last weekend reported excellent conditions.

Users are reminded that there are some re-routing of traffic due to construction, but those are the only inconveniences currently experienced at the park. All recreational opportunities at the park, including camping and boating, are available.

Construction on the Guernsey State Park dam is currently progressing on scheduled with an expected completion date of March 2014.
