Enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment at the Third Annual Great Dam Day, August 17 at the Buffalo Bill State Park Visitor Center.

The event begins at 9 a.m. with the Kid’s Hike and Seek Treasure Hunt. Gates will also open to allow pedestrian access to the old dam road and front views of the dam.

At noon, Wyoming musical artist, Bryan Ragsdale will perform and entertain as a “Cowboy Bard”. Food and refreshments will also be available and prizes will be awarded for the Kid’s Hike and Seek Treasure Hunt. Gates will remain open until 3 p.m. and volunteers will be on-site to provide interpretation and assistance. Access is free to the public.

This project is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.

For more information contact Leslie Slater Wilson at the Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center: (307) 527-6076.

The public can learn more about Wyoming’s own Bryan Ragsdale’s by visiting http://www.bryanragsdale.com/.
