Motorized vehicle restrictions lessened at Glendo State Park

Beginning January 1, visitors to Glendo State Park will be able to use motorized vehicles to travel below the “high water line” to access hunting and fishing opportunities the park.

This access will be allowed through February 28, 2014 and then October 15 through February 28 of each calendar year annually.

Motorized vehicles will be allowed to enter and exit shoreline areas from Department established access points. Visitors are encouraged to travel responsibly to and from hunting and fishing areas. Motorized vehicle travel below the "high water line" will be monitored closely.

All areas below the "high water line" will be closed to motorized vehicle traffic from March 1 through October 14 of each calendar year. All other Wyoming State Park rules and regulations regarding park entrance and camping fees, vehicle operation and camping will still be in effect and must be followed throughout the year.
