The second of three Bear River State park presentations will focus on birds and birding July 30, beginning at 8 a.m. A part of the Bear River State Park Summer Speaker Series, this program will feature Katie Theule from the Seedskadee and Cokeville Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Theule will lead participants on a hike along the Bear River and provide information on the birds found in the area.
The hike will begin in the Bear River State Park Rendezvous area located at the last parking lot at the south end of the park. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own binoculars and field guides. A limited supply will be available to borrow at the park.
This event is free and families are encouraged to attend.
The third and final Summer Speaker Series presentation will be held in August.
