Glendo State Park institutes fire ban

Due to high winds and temperatures, Glendo State Park has instituted a temporary fire ban until additional moisture is received in the area.

The Glendo State Park fire ban, in accordance with an existing Platte County ban, disallows all wood fires due to the potential for sparks.

Glendo State Park will allow fully contained gas grills, gas fire places and charcoal grills.

The ban is in effect until adequate moisture is received.
