Flash Flood Warnng

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Southwestern Laramie County in Southeast Wyoming. Doppler Radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall possibly exceeding two inches. Runoff from the excessive rainfall could impact Curt Gowdy State Park.

Bear River State Park speaker series presentation scheduled July 30

The second of three Bear River State park presentations will focus on birds and birding July 30, beginning at 8 a.m. A part of the Bear River State Park Summer Speaker Series, this program will feature Katie Theule from the Seedskadee and Cokeville Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Theule will lead participants on a hike along the Bear River and provide information on the birds found in the area.

Glendo public meeting planned
