  • 45+ miles of mountain biking single-track trails
  • 4 Trailheads: Dam Overlook, Wetlands, Two Moon and Sandy Beach

 

UPDATE (6/23/23): 

A section of the 91 Gigawat trail is currently closed across the North Platte River. Trails on the south side of the river can still be accessed via the Raptor Trail. An estimated time for the 91 Gigawat trail reopening is unknown, and any updates will be posted as soon as they arise.

Glendo State Park offers a wide variety of boating opportunities.

More information:

  • Due to fluctuating water levels navigational hazards exist in the reservoir and it is your responsibility to know if the area is safe for boating.
  • Roughly 12,000 surface acres of water for boating.
  • Boating activities include motorized and non-motorized.

Glendo has 6 public boat ramps and 5 courtesy docks (see descriptions below). Current boat ramp levels located HERE

  • Bennett Hill has a boat ramp and courtesy dock
  • Reno Cove has high water and low water boat ramps, no courtesy docks
  • Whiskey Gulch has a high water and a low water boat ramps with courtesy docks
  • Marina has a public boat ramp with private dock with a courtesy area
  • Indian Point has a high water boat ramp with courtesy dock and a low water ramp with no dock

Glendo offers a wide variety of camping opportunities from the pine forests at Two Moon Campground to the beautiful beaches at Sandy Beach. Glendo has a place for everyone who enjoys camping and enjoying the great outdoors.

More information:

  • 550 total campsites among 19 camping areas.
  • From May 1st through September 30th, most camping is by reservation only.
  • From October 1st through April 30th, all camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Reservations may be made online, calling the toll free number 1-877-wyo-park (1-877-996-7275) or go to https://reserve.wyoming.gov/
  • Camping is Closed in the Burnt Wagon and Muddy Bay areas due to continued damage and neglect to these areas. 
  • 30 Amp and 50 Amp electrical hookups are available at a limited number of sites in Two Moon, Reno Cove, Bennett Hill and Sandy Beach campgrounds.
