About:

Guernsey State Park was designed and constructed to take advantage of the the beautiful and scenic vistas of the area. The entire park has picture worthy panoramas but there are historical Civilian Conservation Corps structures and features that were specifically constructed to provide spectacular observation points of the canyons and river of the the park.

The Castle, the Museum, Brimmer Point Overlook and miles of hiking trails were all built to provide a striking vantage point of this special area. Lake Side Drive, with it many pull-off areas, runs along the entire eastern shoreline of the reservoir and provides spectacular views of the lake and the canyon.
