Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day and learn about healthy, active outdoor fun at Sinks Canyon State Park, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

National Get Outdoors Day is an initiative that offers opportunities for American families to experience traditional and non-traditional types of outdoor activities. Additionally, participating partners attempt to bring first-time visitors to public lands and reconnect our youth to the great outdoors.

Sinks Canyon State Park will feature a PlayCleanGo Booth set up at the Visitor Center to educate visitors on how to stop the spread of invasive species.

Sinks Canyon State Park is located off Hwy 131, six miles southwest of Lander.
