            The fourth program in the Fort Fred Steele 150th Anniversary Celebration Series focuses on Towns and Ghost Towns July 7 at the fort.

            Take a self-guided walk around Fort Steele as you learn about the towns of Carbon County, Wyoming, some of which are now ghost towns. This day-long program is free and the public is invited.

Journey a span of 150 years through storyboards and images.

            Other programs during the summer-long series are titled 150 with the Railroad, July 21; Mining in Carbon County: A Storyboard Walk, Aug. 4; State Parks on I-80: A Storyboard Walk. Aug. 18; Tie Hacks, Sept. 1.

            Fort Fred Steele is located at Exit 228 on I-80 east of Rawlins.
