Kids’ Pumpkin Walk

Autumn means colder temperatures, leaves turning color and time for family fun at the 8thannual Kids’ Pumpkin Walk on October 7 from 12 noon – 4 p.m. at the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site.

Admission is Free but please bring a can food item that will be donated to the local food bank.

Gather your family and friends and come enjoy an afternoon filled with outdoor fun. Although costumes are optional, your pint-sized Spiderman or Cinderella will enjoy exploring and learning.

Parents have commented, “My family had a wonderful time and were frankly amazed at all the different activities available…Wonderful community event!”

“We love sharing this event with the community and watching people of all ages just having fun! Pumpkin Walk encourages families and children to laugh together and experience our site in a fun and unique way.” Says Site Superintendent, Deborah Amend.

This year’s Pumpkin Walk is filled with activities for children, ages 12 years and younger, including a straw maze for the kids to twist and turn their way through; picking the perfect pumpkin from the patch to decorate with sticker fun; hay wagon rides and Balloon Artists!

There will be games, prizes, treats, and food vendors on site.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Special thanks to our sponsors Bertha Ward Family, Laramie GM Auto Center and Wyoming Territorial Park Historic Association for making this event possible.

Event will be held regardless of weather.  For more information contact Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site 307-745-3733, follow us on Facebook or visit www.wyomingterritorialprison.com  979 Snowy Range Rd., Laramie, WY.
