More information:

  • Fishing Boysen Reservoir contains a diverse fishery.
  • Anglers will discover walleye, sauger, perch, crappie, ling, rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout as the major sports species.
  • Other game fish present are largemouth bass, bluegill, stonecat, black bullhead, mountain whitefish, lake trout, brook trout, channel catfish and splake. Non-game species include carp, fathead, minnow, plains killifish, golden and sand shiners, flathead, lake and creek chubs, white, longnose and northern redhorse suckers and the river carpsucker.

Park Fees

  • The daily use fee is $4 per resident vehicle, or $6 per non-resident vehicle, and is required to enter and use park areas and facilities.
  • An annual daily use permit is available.
  • The camping fee is $10 per resident vehicle or $17 per non-resident vehicle (includes daily use fee.)
  • An annual camping permit is also available for Wyoming residents.
