Wildlife Viewing - GUERNSEY

Guernsey State Park is situated along the North Platte River and Guernsey Reservoir which provides a variety of habitats that are home to a wide variety of wildlife species. The park is a birders and wildlife viewing haven.

The entire park provides valuable habitat for all types and species of wildlife. The riparian areas, open grasslands, canyons and timbered hillsides provide excellent locations to watch for the many species of birds and animals that call Wyoming home.

Wildlife viewing opportunities are good throughout the year, but, the springtime and autumn months are the best times of the year to spot the wild things of the park.

All vehicles visiting the park are required to purchase the appropriate SPLHS&T daily use and overnight permits.
