Best sandy beach area is in Sunshine Beach Campground.  But all 3 campgrounds have beach areas.

Sand Mountain Day Use Area has a very nice sandy beach with 2 picnic areas.

AvailabilityAvailability

All beach areas are first come-first served for day use activities. Leaving Park by 10 p.m.

North Red Hills has 30 Reservation Camp sites..

South Red Hills has 21 Reservation Camp sites.  

Sunshine Beach has 38 Reservation Camp Sites.

Seminoe State Park has 0 first come-first served Camp sites

Biking can be done on any park road, BOR land and roads.

Bikers my ride on any existing roads and BOR land. Seminoe does not have any designated bike trails at this time.

Seminoe Reservoir is 21 miles long with 2 major tributaries, the North Platte River and the Medicine Bow River. Boating access to the Reservoir can be made in the park at the North and South Red Hills boat ramps.  There is a private boat ramp at the Seminoe Boat Club and one at the Medicine Bow Bout Ramp.

There is drinking water that can be obtained in the North Red Hills and South Red Hills during the summer months.
